Description
The Serene Plush is the softest mattress DreamBeds sells. It rates a 3 out of 10 on our firmness scale and is built for side sleepers, lighter-weight sleepers under about 180 lb, and anyone with sore shoulders or hips who wants to feel cradled rather than held up.
The comfort system is 4 inches deep: 2 inches of slow-response open-cell memory foam over 2 inches of softer conventional memory foam, so you sink in gradually and the mattress follows the curve of your body. An 8-inch high-density polyfoam core prevents the bottoming-out feeling that cheap plush mattresses have. Motion isolation is the best in our lineup; you can get up in the night without disturbing a partner.
Because this is a deep-contouring foam mattress, it sleeps warmer than the Haven or the hybrids. Hot sleepers should consider the Aurora Cooling Hybrid Plus. Edge support is soft, so if you sit on the edge of the bed a lot, look at the Ridge Pocket-Coil Hybrid.
