DreamBeds Austin showroom
Our only showroom is at 4200 South Lamar Blvd, Suite 120, Austin, TX 78704, in the single-storey building between the coffee roaster and the bike shop, about a mile south of Barton Springs Road. Every mattress, bed frame and adjustable base we sell is on the floor, set up the way it would be in your bedroom, with the same sheets and pillows we sell. There are no commissioned salespeople and the prices are the same as online.
Hours
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Sunday: closed
- Appointment-only early slot: 9:30 am, Monday to Saturday
What to expect
Plan on 30 to 45 minutes. An advisor will ask how you sleep, whether you share the bed and whether anything hurts in the morning, then suggest three or four models to try. Lie on each for at least five minutes in the position you actually sleep in; we keep the lights low and the music quiet so you can. If you are considering an adjustable base, the demonstration takes another 15 minutes and includes the Zenith sleep-tracking app. Kids are welcome; the Loft bunk bed and the Hideaway trundle are set up in the kids’ corner.
Getting here and parking
Four customer parking spaces are behind the building (enter from the side street), plus a loading zone on the side street for pickups. CapMetro route 3 stops directly outside. The showroom is step-free from the rear entrance and there is an accessible restroom.
Showroom pickup and floor models
Pillows, bedding, toppers, bunkie boards and boxed mattresses in stock can be picked up from the showroom at no charge; order online and choose “Showroom pickup,” or buy in person. Floor models are sold once or twice a year when we refresh the floor, as-is with a 1-year warranty and no trial, by appointment only; ask an advisor to add you to the floor-model list.
