Description
The Terra Organic Latex is made from three layers of GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex wrapped in a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover quilted with organic wool. There is no polyurethane foam anywhere in the mattress, no chemical flame retardants (the wool is the fire barrier), and no adhesives between layers, so it can be opened and the layers rearranged.
Latex is naturally buoyant and responsive. Where memory foam hugs, latex lifts, so you never feel stuck and the surface stays cool because the open-cell structure and pin-core ventilation holes let air move. The Terra rates a 5 out of 10, medium, in its standard configuration. Because the layers are loose, our showroom can swap the top layer to make it softer or firmer during your trial at no charge.
Latex is also inherently resistant to dust mites and mould, which makes the Terra a common choice for allergy sufferers. It is heavy, so we deliver it flat with white-glove service.
