Inside is a 9-inch individually pocketed coil unit (896 coils in queen) with a foam-encased edge, topped by 2 inches of soft convoluted foam, 1 inch of fibre fill and a damask cover quilted with an additional 1 inch of foam. The pocketed coils keep motion transfer low for an innerspring, and the tall coil unit gives the mattress a lot of airflow, so it sleeps cool without any special cooling material.
The Heritage is designed to be used with a box spring or a solid foundation and is not compatible with adjustable bases.
