Description
The Nook Metal Platform Frame is the simplest way to get a mattress off the floor. It is a powder-coated steel frame with 24 steel slats spaced 3 inches apart, which meets the foundation requirement for every mattress we sell, including latex and memory foam, without a box spring or bunkie board.
The frame stands 14 inches tall, leaving 13 inches of clearance for under-bed storage boxes. Assembly takes about 15 minutes with no tools; the pieces lock together and are secured with hand-tightened knobs. Rubber feet protect hard floors and keep the frame from sliding. It is rated for 1,200 lb including the mattress.
The frame accepts our Universal Headboard Brackets if you want to attach a headboard. It is not compatible with adjustable bases (those come with their own legs).
