Two inches of gel-infused memory foam add a soft, contouring layer that takes the pressure off shoulders and hips without changing the support underneath. The gel infusion keeps it from trapping heat the way plain memory foam toppers do.
It ships compressed and rolled in a box, expands within a few hours, and comes with a removable, machine-washable bamboo-blend cover with elastic corner straps to keep it in place under a fitted sheet. Because it adds 2 inches to the mattress height, check that your fitted sheets have deep enough pockets.
