Description
The Hideaway is a twin bed with a second twin bed hidden underneath on smooth-rolling casters. Pull it out for a sleepover or a visiting grandparent, push it back in the morning. The trundle sits 4 inches off the floor and takes a mattress up to 8 inches tall; the main bed takes up to 12 inches. Both beds have slatted decks, so no box spring or bunkie board is needed.
The frame is solid New Zealand pine with a 40-inch panel headboard and rounded corners, finished in white, grey or natural. Assembly takes about 45 minutes with the included hex key. Mattresses are not included; the Sprout Waterproof Kids Mattress and Nook Basic Foam Twin fit both the bed and the trundle.
