Description
The Ridge Pocket-Coil Hybrid combines the responsive bounce of coils with the contouring of memory foam. It rates a 6 out of 10 on our firmness scale, medium-firm, which suits back sleepers, combination sleepers who move around, and heavier side sleepers who want more support than an all-foam bed offers.
The support core is made of 8-inch individually wrapped pocket coils (1,024 in queen), each moving independently so motion transfer between partners stays low. A double row of firmer perimeter coils gives the Ridge the best edge support in its price range; you can sit on the edge or sleep right up against it without rolling off. On top sit 1.5 inches of gel-infused memory foam and 1.5 inches of responsive comfort foam under a quilted, breathable cover.
Because air moves freely through the coil layer, the Ridge sleeps cooler than any all-foam mattress in our range.
