Description
The Vault turns the space under your mattress into a dresser. Each side of the bed has two deep drawers on full-extension, soft-close metal runners; each drawer measures 36 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 7 inches tall and holds about the same as a large dresser drawer. Together the four drawers replace a six-drawer dresser in a room that does not have space for one.
The frame and drawer fronts are solid white oak with a matte lacquer finish; the drawer boxes are dovetailed birch. The mattress rests on a solid slatted deck with 2-inch spacing and three support rails, so it needs no box spring and will support any of our mattresses including the heaviest latex models.
Because of its weight (210 lb) and the drawer mechanisms, the Vault is delivered white-glove and assembled in your bedroom at no extra charge. Please measure your doorways; the largest carton is 62 by 20 by 9 inches.
